Crock Pot Beef Chili (Thailand)

Yield: 10 Servings


2 – 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste (small)
3 Tbsp. Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. cumin
3 tsp. oregano
3 tsp. cocoa powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
Freshly cracked pepper to taste
3 -4* top sirloin cubed
2 red peppers chopped (2 cups)
2 green peppers chopped (2 cups)
1 large onion chopped (approx. 3 1/2 cups)
1 – 7 oz. can diced green chilies
6 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 – 15 oz. cans kidney beans drained & rinsed
1 – 15 oz. can black beans drained & rinsed


Place tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic chili pepper sauce, chili powder, salt, cumin, oregano, cocoa powder, sugar and fresh cracked pepper in crock pot.  Mix well. Add beef, peppers, onion, green chilies and garlic. Mix well and cover.

Cook on low 7-8 hours. For a shorter cooking time, cook on high 3 hours and low for 2 hours.  The beef will be as tender as 8 hours on low. Add beans the last 2 hours of cooking.
